This week’s addition to the list of recipients of the Burrows Paper Player of the Week Award is Dustin Stanton, a two year starter for the DiamondDawgs out of Southern Maine University. Stanton, a six foot, four inch right handed pitcher enjoyed his time spent in the Valley last year so much that he decided to make the trip once again this summer to help the Dawgs contend for the PGCBL championship in its inaugural season. Stanton, a junior from Cornish, Maine, has a 3.86 ERA for the Dawgs while logging 25.2 innings and compiling 15 strikeouts on the mound.
