2nd Annual “Rock the Canal” weekend celebration.
Featuring Diamond Dawgs Cruise with very special guest former Major League Baseball Star Tommy John, and a waterfront fireworks show!

The second annual Rock the Canal weekend is scheduled for June 12-15, 2014 at Gems Along the Mohawk in Herkimer, NY. This year’s celebration is going to be bigger and better than ever! Special events are planned for the entire weekend.
The highlight of the celebration will take place on Saturday, June 14th. On this night there will be an exciting evening cruise on board Erie Canal Cruises’ Lil’ Diamond III with members of the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs, along with very special guest Tommy John! Newly crowned Miss Erie Canal Caitlin Nolan, Miss New York and Miss Syracuse International will meet and greet and entertain everyone. There will be a DJ on board as well as a full cash bar. Cap off the evening with a spectacular, waterfront fireworks display at 9:30pm.
Complimentary shuttle bus service will be available from the HARC facility located at 420 German Street, Herkimer, NY from 7:00pm-10:30pm.
A limited number of $25 Diamond Dawgs Cruise tickets are available by calling 315-985-0692. On this unique cruise with special guest Tommy John, we’ll travel through a lock on the historic Erie Canal with on board entertainment and a full cash bar. Everyone on the vessel will receive an autograph from Tommy John to commemorate the event.

- 7:00pm-9:00pm – Diamond Dawgs Cruise with Tommy John – $25 per ticket
- 9:30pm – Huge waterfront fireworks display
