Venarro
The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs are pleased to announce that they have resigned 2015 Dawg and Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) All-Star pitcher Zach Vennaro to a contract for 2016.
Zach Vennaro from New Hartford, New York was a standout athlete at New York Mills High School on the diamond.
The 6’6 220 pound pitcher emerged as one of the top pitchers in the PGCBL last summer helping the DiamondDawgs to their first league championship.
Vennaro, is currently in his sophomore year at junior college powerhouse Monroe County Community College in Rochester, New York where he is a major contributor. DiamondDawgs owner Travis Heiser spoke highly of his resigning of Vennaro, “Zach brings a powerful arm that will light up the radar guns at Vet’s Park. After watching him shine last season and helping us to the championship there was no doubt that Zach was a player we wanted to have back in 2016. Coach Nation and I are beyond excited to have Zach wearing a DiamondDawgs jersey again this summer.”
Please join the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs in welcoming Zach Vennaro to the Dawgs family!
Go Dawgs!
