The Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs invite all of their fans to their game at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Little Falls on Saturday, July 23, as they take on the Amsterdam Mohawks in Game Six of the Patriot Bank Cup series. It will be Free Movie Night at the Park, and the first 250 fans to come through the gate will receive free movie tickets courtesy of Valley Cinemas in Little Falls.

Also in attendance that night will be Diamond Dawgs Chairman and Major League Baseball great Tommy John. Tommy will be signing autographs before the game and taking in the game between the Mohawks and the Diamond Dawgs.

“As a former Major League Baseball Pitcher for 26 years, I know the importance that baseball plays in the lives of kids and in entire communities all across the country,” John said. “I have been around baseball all my life and I think that the people of the Mohawk Valley have a great opportunity to take the Diamond Dawgs Baseball Team and make it the # 1 summer collegiate baseball team in the country.

“I’m a big time supporter of the Diamond Dawgs, [and] it is nice to see people like Travis Heiser who bring their knowledge of the game to college players throughout the country.”
