Dawgs Resign Marc Iseneker for 2016

Little Falls, New York – The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs are pleased to announce the resigning of pitcher Marc Iseneker to the 2016 roster.

Marc pitched for the Champion DiamondDawgs in 2015. He led the team with over 50 innings pitched while starting 9 Games on the mound. He finished the 2015 DiamondDawgs season with 3.75 ERA.

Marc is from Sherrill, New York and is entering his junior season as one of the top pitchers at St. John Fisher College

2015: Started 11 games for the Cardinals as a sophomore, going 4-4 … Pitched 58.1 innings, collecting a 2.78 ERA … Pitched a complete scoreless 9 inning game against Ithaca College on 4/25, recording 10 strikeouts … Finished with 54 strikeouts on the year … Mowed down a career-high 12 batters against Elmira College on 4/19 … Earned All-Conference Second Team.

2014: Started nine games for Fisher in his freshman campaign, going 7-1 … The seven wins on the season were third best in the conference … Led the nation in hits allowed per nine innings (4.36) translating to holding opposing batters to a .151 average … Recorded the fourth best ERA in the Empire 8 at 2.05 … Pithched 48.1 innings with 44 strikeouts … Named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year along with Earning second team All-Conference recognition …Named Second Team All-Region by ABCA/Rawlings.

High School: Played two years of varsity baseball … Led team in strikeouts and doubles.
