The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) has released the schedule for the upcoming best-of-three 2017 PGCBL Championship Series between the Jamestown Jammers and the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs.
Game 1 of the PGCBL Championship Series is slated for Sunday, August 6, and will be hosted by the DiamondDawgs at Veteran’s Memorial Park. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
The series will then shift to Russell E. Diethrick Jr. Park in Jamestown, N.Y., Since the Jammers were seeded No. 1 in the West Division and finished the regular season with a 34-15 record, they have earned the right to home-field advantage for the remainder of the series. Game 2 will be hosted by the Jammers on Monday, August 7, and if necessary, both teams will return to Diethrick Park on Tuesday, August 8, for Game 3. First pitch for both contests in Jamestown will be at 7:05 p.m.
