Little Falls, New York – The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs announced today that they have added catcher Chris Rave to its 2015 roster. The 5 foot 11, 200 pound Rave is from Middletown, New York and attended high school at Minisink Valley.
At Minisink Valley High, Rave was a three-time 1st team, varsity section 9 all-star and was awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP) honors in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
As a freshman at Onondaga Community College Rave batted .380 and had an on-base percentage of .497 hitting 2 homeruns with 42 RBIs, 33 runs and 5 stolen bases. Rave was named 1st team all-conference, 2nd team all-region and to the region III all-tournament team.
Rave has transferred from Onondaga Community College to Herkimer College for his sophomore season and will represent the Mohawk Valley in the spring as a Herkimer General and then the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs this summer.
