Dawgs Sign Another All-American For 2017!

The DiamondDawgs are pleased to announce the signing of All-American, All Region and All Conference Player Anthony Boselli!

“ We are very excited to have Anthony for the summer 2017 “, said DiamondDawgs owner and president Travis Heiser. ” Anthony is currently a sophomore at Mercer County Community College where he was an All-American as a freshman leading his team to the JUCCO World Series in 2016. He was also named first team all region and all conference while helping his team finish 2nd in the country. He had an unbelievable freshmen season where he posted a .356 batting average and led the team with 52 runs batted in, tallying six home runs as part of 27 extra base hits. Dan has accepted a baseball scholarship to Fairfield University where he will be playing in 2018. When I spoke to the coaches at Fairfield they said that Dan is a player that is a “game changer” for a team. His ability to play both the infield and outfield is also important as it will allow coach Nation to use him in many different situations and positions”.

“I’m am very excited to play for the Dawgs this summer”, said Boselli.” I’m looking forward to working with and competing against some of the best players and coaches in the country. I have heard lots of good things about the team, fans and coaches. My goal is to do everything I can to bring the championship back to the Mohawk Valley in 2017! ”

Please join us in welcoming Anthony to the DiamondDawgs Family!
