2018 PGCBL All-League Teams Announced…

FOUR DiamondDawgs Named “Best of the Best”

The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League announced its yearly All-League teams on Monday afternoon, honoring the best players in the PGCBL during the 2018 season.

Three position players from the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs, who led the PGCBL in hits, batting average, on base percentage found their way onto the First Team. League home run and RBI champion Ryan Toohers (Villanova), as well as batting average champion Ryan Hernandez (San Jacinto CC), were selected at first base and designated hitter, while Austin Pollack (Hofstra) earned an outfield spot. Each of the four DiamondDawgs named among the league’s best, including Second Team selection Joseph Castellanos (Umass Lowell), who led the league in runs scored and hits.
